Access LAANC with Skyward
Efficient Flight Planning
When you plan an operation in Skyward, you'll immediately see if you need to fly in controlled airspace and know within seconds if ATC has authorized your mission—no more waiting 90 days for approval.
Fly in More Places
Huge sections of many U.S. cities fall within controlled airspace. With LAANC, construction companies, local news, public utilities, and first responders can get out and fly when and where they need to.
Integrated with Ops Management
In October 2017, Skyward became the first ops management platform to provide native LAANC access as part of a complete enterprise drone workflow—we're always working to improve it.

Download the Guide to LAANC Facilities
The FAA has rolled out LAANC for hundreds of airports, covering the entirety of the United States, and now we’re sharing them with you. LAANC covers UAS access to controlled airspace, which is the purview of the federal air traffic control centers (ATC), not the airports themselves. Not every ATC facility has chosen to participate in LAANC. Please don’t call your airport or ATC to ask about LAANC access—the FAA has been very clear about this.
New Feature: Skyward Airspace Intelligence
The drone pilots who rely on Skyward now have access to more preflight situational awareness than they’ve ever had before. Our redesigned drone airspace map combines a clear design, airspace data, and LAANC access with essential ground intelligence including 3D views of key structures, transmission lines, and more than a million vertical obstacles.
