Skyward has been hard at work developing new ways to support enterprise drone programs. Today, I’m very excited to announce a new feature in Skyward’s Aviation Management Platform, as well as an important upgrade to a recently-released feature.
For administrators wanting to understand the performance of their drone program, Skyward now offers Program Insights. This dashboard displays key operational metrics for an at-a-glance assessment of your program’s status and activity — and quick comparison across all your teams.
Program Insights is available to Skyward Enterprise subscribers today.
Drone program data made easy
Administrators can access Program Insights by navigating to the new “Insights” tab. Program Insights visualizes key operational information, including:
- Number of flights
- Number of operations
- Pilot certification status
- Aircraft airworthiness status
- More categories coming soon…
Administrators can view data for the entire company, or break statistics down by organization to compare teams. Insights can also be filtered by time range to find relevant metrics, uncover trends, and improve compliance.
The Program Insights dashboard is built on the foundation of Skyward’s superior drone operations management platform. It simplifies the reporting workflow to provide drone program managers, executives, and administrators even more capability to manage large-scale operations.
Other reporting options in Skyward
For companies looking for an in-depth reporting solution, Skyward also offers Program Manager Dashboard. This tool includes more than a dozen pre-built reports based on Skyward’s APIs, with no experience required for managing APIs or business intelligence tools.
Update: Customizable Risk Assessment Templates
Skyward recently released our Risk Assessment — an effective tool for recognizing and mitigating risk. Now, in addition to the default questions developed by Skyward’s aviation experts, administrators of Enterprise accounts can create their own templates in Skyward’s Risk Assessment Builder.
Administrators can log into an enterprise’s top-level organization and find the Risk Assessment Builder under the “Manage” tab in Skyward. From there, they can add, remove, or edit questions, as well as set custom risk levels. Once finished, they can publish the updated template to all organizations across the enterprise.
This configurability enables companies to tailor risk assessments to their own standard operating procedures and levels of risk tolerance. It’s one more tool to help companies establish centralized, well-managed drone programs, no matter their size.
