The Skyward Airspace Map makes it easy for you to efficiently plan flights and to see at a glance where it’s safe to fly and where you may need special permission.
Before using the map, make sure your browser’s locations settings are turned on. If you need help with this, here are instructions for the browsers that Skyward supports:
Click Map in the navigation bar to open the Skyward Airspace Map.

The first step to creating a flight area is finding the location of the operation:
If you click a point on the map, its coordinates will be displayed in the lower right of your screen.
You can copy and paste those coordinates into points of interest.
Click the layer icon to see physical, street, or hybrid views of the map. Professional Plus subscribers have the additional option of a visual flight rules (VFR) sectional layer on the Skyward Airspace Map.
Skyward Professional Plus Subscribers: You have exclusive access to an extra layer on the Skyward Airspace Map—the visual flight rules chart (VFR sectional). This is a highly useful feature with a wealth of information for pilots who are familiar with it.
Explore the area around your flight area by using your mouse or trackpad to zoom in and out. You can also zoom via the +/- tools in the lower right-hand corner of your screen.
Find your current location at any time by clicking the Go to current location icon.
