As a director or a business owner responsible for flight ops, you want to ensure that your operations are planned and logged in Skyward, the best-in-class tool for your operational workflow. This user guide will explain how to plan and log operations in Skyward. Skyward enables you to plan an operation, including setting the estimated start and stop time, the location and/or flight area, assigning personnel, aircraft, payloads, and attaching any necessary documents such as official authorizations, site owner permissions,or operations briefs.
Professional Plus subscribers in the U.S. can submit a NOTAM through Skyward to alert other airspace users of your planned and saved UAS operation.
Add flights to the saved operation to keep track of additional detail in your system of record. After the operation is over, you can add information about completed flights and import flight logs from your DJI ground control station. Once you’ve added all the information you need to track, log the operation to enter it into your system of record.
